One Crazy pARTy!

Indie pARTy 31 JulyThat was one crazy pARTy…!

From wardrobe malfunctions, stream issues and mass booted guests we had just about every issue we could down to the entertainer, Eric Sweetwater, losing all his internet for about 10 minutes.

In a way tho, it was the perfect indie party.  The idea of the whole celebration was to recognize artists that forge ahead on their own, developing their talents and seeing where they will lead them.  Indies struggle against lack of resources, faulty equipment and their own self doubts and yet still manage to keep going.  It’s this spirit of resilience that we were honoring; how appropriate that a spirit of resilience was needed at the pARTy ;p

It was so much fun tho.  My Fair iLady got a crash course in virtual partying.  Some old and dear friends showed up and I met some new ones.  The music was awesome, the chat stayed lively and I got to experience trying to read in the dark at 6am with no coffee.  I wondered if I would be able to annunciate without being properly caffeinated… but it went off well.

Thank you for all that attended… It was a blast seeing everyone.  I hope we’ll have the video up soon, and we’ll do it again next month.  Every time gets better and better!  xox
