Mae BookCrossing

For the last month every Wednesday has been dedicated to Books Gone Wild where I release a paperback copy of End of Mae to be found randomly.

In all I’ve let five books go, two of which have been claimed by owners.  Three of them are still out there.  One of them has been sitting at Ivey Ladies Boutique since last Friday’s ArtWalk.  This is part of the online game of BookCrossing.

I love this game – it’s like a scavenger hunt.  I keep going off looking for books that have been let go and keep missing them but the day I finally get one everyone will know.  I think it’s probably easier to hunt Buffalo than catch a BookCrossing book… but I keep trying.

Fortunately, it’s just as fun to release books as it is to hunt them.  At the end of May I have to decide if I will keep releasing copies of just my own books or diversify and release others.  One thing I do know is that I will stick with Wild Release Wednesdays… it’s just too much fun.

Find out how to BookCross yourself ;D
