Whatever it takes – summa ope!

Forget all the reasons it won’t work and believe the one reason that it will.

Book 1When it comes to achievement and success, you may quickly become your biggest enemy. Too often our own minds are the ones discouraging us from taking the leap of faith that may change our lives for better.

Can you remember a time when you were on the edge of the greatest business idea in the world, but financial worry caused you to toss it away? Or on a more romantic side, how often have you sat in the break room thinking about the dark-haired cashier you’ve been pining after for months only to feel the small amount of courage you mustered to ask him out, crushed… by the small voice in your head whispering that he could never feel the same.

This small and insignificant voice crumbles our confidence, pushing us back into the line of normalcy. As long as we listen to our little voice, we will be okay, we will never fall and scrape a knee or spend a dime that we can’t make back. Yet for all this security, we will never take that step we need to achieve our greatest goals.
Fear will hold us back from the many gifts life has to offer us. What if you didn’t pursue that business idea… would miss looking back ten years from now as a millionaire? What if you didn’t ask that dark-haired cashier out on a date… would you never know the faces of the two little girl’s you may have had a family with?

I dare you, that thing you’ve been dreaming of for so long yet continually undermined with that little voice, take up arms… take the step. All the “What ifs” in the world will never amount to any more than “What ifs” Forget all the reasons it won’t work and believe in the one reason it will… because you will never know what your missing until you try.
