Jesse has written a story that is brutal in it’s honesty. He has come a long way to where he is and he did it by going through some really bad places. In this book, Jesse tells us his life story. Although his childhood was not wonderful and his parents were severely lacking in parenting skills, he takes full responsibility for all his decisions and accepts the consequences of them. He writes these memoirs as he remembers them. So, the time-line is a bit confusing. This is the only reason the book received 4 stars from me. Follow him as he goes through this meandering path that takes him back and forth from Canada to the US in his search for himself. Glad someone finally got close enough to notice his mental condition and get him the help he needed. Great book!
