Santa picOk, once again I find Christmas whooping my buns. I started out full of peace, joy and love for all mankind but in the last week I find myself staggering to the finish line, my trunk full of hidden stocking stuffers and my passenger seat a litter of half opened mail and cards. I think the “X” some people use for “Xmas” must be for X-treme Holiday.

Still, as the calendar clears of things I can do and all the little tasks are being completed, I find the warmth and joy of the season returning to me. I even had a quick visit with Santa during the Yule of Yesteryear festival at the Heritage Museum of Northwest Florida.
