The ghouls are gathering…

The World Horror Convention 2015 is still going strong in Atlanta, but the faces are starting to look a little more haggard.

Last night’s costume ball and spin off parties are partially to blame. The pace is also intense—from 9 a.m. to midnight there seems to be something going on with no time for bathroom breaks and meals. You definitely get your penny’s worth at this convention.

Speaking of pennies, last night I indulged in a childhood fantasy I didn’t realize I had when I danced with a murderous clown with oversized teeth, ala Pennywise. It was such a fun and surreal experience to shuffle to Uptown Funk surrounded by monsters. The best part, having a chat about it as I refilled my drink and the wonderful response from the girl next to me.

“What’s your favorite part so far?” she asked.

“Definitely dancing with Pennywise,” I said.

“Oh my God, I have to go find him!” and she was gone.

Only at a horror convention.
