Review: Rune by J.H. Glaze

RuneRune by J.H. Glaze starts off strong with a story line that digs its claws into the reader from the beginning.

The opening scene balances potent imagery with situational mystery to create an engaging story about a teenager named Jacob Rune going through some changes—just not your typical teenage changes.

I like the characters so far. They are rounded out and realistic. They are engaging enough for me to want to follow them further into the tale. I feel invested in their lives shortly after they are introduced.

This is Episode I, available free on Amazon, and is the beginning of a four part series that run 99 cents each. For the cost of $3 total, this is some good entertainment.
