The IsolatorHow far will a writer go for a quiet space?

Somewhere in between Superman’s Fortress of Solitude and my kitchen table there is a happy medium.

I hate to spend precious writing time searching for the perfect place but staying up until after everyone goes to bed (when the kitchen table suddenly does become the perfect place) is exhausting.

Between being an involved member of my family and the drive to create there is a happy medium. The secret for me is finding what works today and being flexible enough to change when it doesn’t work tomorrow. One word at a time, books do get written.

And, as a last resort, I can always save up and buy The Isolator!
