A poem for someone I love

20150726_193331 (1)At the moment I am deeply immersed in writing projects but I hate to break my (almost) daily blogging routine so for today I offer you a simple poem that came to me recently.

Most of the time I feel like there is a storm of words in my brain flying around like sparkles in a snow globe. If I stop a minute they settle down into patterns. Sometimes the patterns tell me what I’m feeling. Sometimes they’re just silly. Sometimes they are an emotional souvenir of a moment.
