October is Adopt-a-Shelter Dog Month at Cafe Bienville

My favorite former shelter dog Chief is happy to pose in front of last year’s Halloween Tree

Come see me tomorrow! I will be kicking off “Adopt-a-Shelter Dog” month at Cafe Bienville in Niceville and signing books from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.  with fellow author Helene Lund Den Boer.

There will be a special decorated Halloween Tree that will highlight the needs of local shelters and pets available for adoption from New Beginnings Animal Sanctuary in Niceville.

Visitors will have a chance to be an Animal Angel when they drop off much needed items for New Beginnings under the tree.

Photos of dogs looking for their forever home will also be hung upon the tree. New Beginnings welcomes visitors and questions about any of the dogs they have up for adoption.

The Halloween Tree will be up at Cafe Bienville in Niceville until November 1.
