Finally, Panhandle Focus Archives!

Layout 1For everyone that’s been requesting… the Panhandle Focus Archive book is now available for sale. All proceeds from the sale of this book go to New Beginnings Animal Sanctuary in Niceville.

The Panhandle Focus was published by Angela Yuriko Smith from August 2015 to July 2016 and consisted of 16 issues. The stories were mainly written by Rachel Reese and covered topics of local interest.

Other contributors included Angela Yuriko Smith, Robin Wiesneth, Loren Boyer, Rachel Miller, Cynthia Luvbabyluv, Gina Marini, Kyra Kile, Ryan Smith and Suva Ang Mendoza.

Proceeds from the sale of the printed archives goes to New Beginnings Animal Sanctuary in Niceville. You can read our story about New Beginnings Animal Shelter in the September 15, 2015 issue. New Beginnings Animal Sanctuary is located in Niceville. Their dogs stay with them until they are adopted. This means that sometimes the dogs are with them for quite awhile and in some cases… forever.

You can become a friend to one of New Beginnings Animal Sanctuary’s shelter pets through your sponsorship of them. A one time or monthly recurring donation can give more dogs a second chance. There are three levels of sponsorship to choose from:

Guardian………………………….. $100

For your donation, you will receive a gift packet from your sponsored pet and they will display a card on their kennel or living area with your name on it to let everyone know that YOU care about Niceville’s homeless dogs.
