Review: Take Me to Australia

AustraliaTake Me to Australia is a colorful learning trip through Australia’s cities and outback.

The seventh book in the World Adventure series by Katie Kahn, she began writing the series with her daughter Autumn as part of a school project.

Kahn wrote a poem about all the places her daughter wanted to visit when she grew up, and they based the series on those places.

The illustrations are bright and really show important parts of Australia.

Animals like kangaroos and koalas are part of the adventure. Readers can explore the Great Barrier Reef, the Blue Mountains and the Red Center. Elementary age kids will enjoy this educational series.

If you live in the local area you can find a copy of Take Me to Australia as a Bookcrossing book at Cafe Bienville in Niceville.
