Serial Fiction: £150 Prize, Free to Enter

killer-serial-stories-final-outlinesAlsina’s Serial Fiction contest is open for submissions! Alsina is looking for serial fiction, also sometimes called mini-series. But what is serial fiction?

From AlsinaPublishing.comIt’s like a TV series, only in writing! The overall story should have a good story arc, but each episode can stand alone. The characters develop and evolve over the course of the story, but they might have a particular event that happens to them in a particular episode. There are no restrictions on genre, but certain genres (romance, mystery/crime/thriller) lend themselves more naturally than others.

Rules: The whole story must be between 5,000 – 10,000 words in total and each individual “episode” should be anywhere between 500 – 1,500 words each. Winner will be published through Alsina’s LingoBites app. Complete details here.

Prize: £150
Deadline: June 30th, 2017
Feedback: Winners will be announced by July 17, 2017 deadline.
