A follow-up to Elements of Story I, this advanced class is a more in depth study of the short story. Students will dissect the story created in Elements I into the various parts using diﬀerent forms of writing, including poetry, screenplay, nanoﬁction and timelines. Exercise your creative muscles every week as we explore writing with prompts. Each week a new prompt will challenge your literary skills. Stories from the class will then be presented in an open mic format.
