We Found the Perfect Job for Writers!

Whatever the weather we’re ready!

I am dedicated to working full time as a writer… but I have recently found the perfect job and accepted. But wait! Before you start madly slamming out an email damning me for my lack of conviction (I get it, it hasn’t even been a full month yet!) hear me out.

I’ll be working, with my husband, as a traveling sales team for Le Loup Garou Alchemy Make Your Own Absinthe Kits.

This means Mr. Smith and I will spend most of 2019 traveling around the country to Renaissance festivals and conventions. On the weekends we will be working in the absinthe booths. On the weekdays we will be writing, doing book signings and other author-ly things to include day-dreaming and wandering—and visiting with some of our many friends all over the US.

As a former hitchhiker in my youth, I am ecstatic to be back on the road. The teenager in me looks forward to wild adventure, while the adult in me is satisfied that this qualifies as a job, and therefore responsibility. The fact that Mr. Smith and I can share this adventure together just makes it one, long honeymoon.

More on this later, as well as a schedule of where we will be and when as soon as I have that available. For now, make plans for a visit from us some point in the near future and stay tuned.

You can find out more about Le Loup Garou Alchemy on their website here.
