On Killing Darlings and Sympathy for Monsters

Whew! Three days between posts? Life has gotten a bit busy around here. Today you can read my poem, “Sympathy for Monsters,” on Nina D’Arcangela’s blog, spreadingthewritersword.com. You can read it here.

I’m also a guest for Marge Simon’s Blood & Spades column in the Horror Writer Association’s May newsletter (Volume 29, Number 226). I discuss “Killing Your Darlings” in poetry as well as share three poems from my soon-to-be-released poetry book, Altars & Oubliettes.

To receive the newsletter, you must be an HWA member. You can find out more about HWA membership here. I highly recommend it.
