#136 Poetry Selections and Exquisite Corpse

Congratulations the poets who made the line up for Spring #136—we had a wealth of poetry submitted and wish we could accept every piece but we only have so much paper.

If you didn’t make it, don’t be discouraged… please try again March 20 when we open for more. Thank you Linda D Addison for putting together another brilliant line up.

In other poetry news, January’s exquisite corpse had 27 amazing contributors. It’s one of the biggest corpses so far. You can go read it here, and now vote for your favorite of the quarter. The ecorpse with the most votes will be published in #136 this March.

Attention those in the Kansas City/Independence area, if you wind up coming to the open mic on February 12, we are going to have some fun and create our own exquisite corpse. More details on the local open mic event here.

Finally, February is not only National Haiku Month, but it’s also Women in Horror Month. To celebrate, I will attempt to write one horror haiku every day until March. Can I do it? I guess we will find out…
