Sorry, I couldn’t resist the dramatic headline. Maybe a throwback from my newspaper days? “The Devil” refers to the READ FOR PIXELS 2021: The Devil at Home—Writing about Domestic Violence in Speculative Fiction panel I did yesterday with Jason Sanders and Rebecca Brewer, embedded below. And as for what’s coming…?

Tomorrow (10-4) is National Poetry Day… thinking of what I can do to celebrate that.

Thursday (10-7) is National Dark Poetry Day and TORTURED WILLOWS will be releasing. A poetry collection from Christina Sng, Lee Murray, Geneve Flynn and myself.

Friday (10-8) is SPECFAIRe, a monthly mini-convention to give us all something to do over the winter. I plan to tell a true, personal experience ghost story to kick things off at noon CST. Find the schedule here.

Next Sunday (10-10) the annual OCTOBER FRIGHTS Blog Hop kicks off, and it’s looking like we will be doing a live show to start that up.

On October 19th I’ll be doing my 13 Days of Halloween again… October always fills me with hope and joy. And we’re just getting started. 🎃👻💀🦇🕷️🎃
