When I was asked to review the blog, My Life a Bit South of Normal, it reminded me of my own experiences with my Kentucky bred grandma.

The writing is warm and readers will have the impression that they are sharing a piece of pie across the kitchen table, sharing anecdotes and laughter.

The author, Ann Currie Williams, displays her beautiful photography in the sidebars, but I confess I wish she used them as illustrations in her posts.  Altogether My Life is a wonderful refreshing blog with near daily posts, perfect for eliciting a smile and a laugh along with your morning coffee.

By funny coincidence my Kentucky grandma was a “Currie” and she was a lot like Ms. William’s Aunty Fode…maybe we’re related?
