MWGA: Beneficial For Global Media

MGWA Meeting
A recent brainstorming session at MWGA

Networking and diversity are the key factors for media professionals to succeed.  The internet has opened many doors, but Skype conferencing can only go so far to establish genuine relationships on a global level.

Studies have shown that seeing is believing, especially when it comes to our behavior.  Virtual experiences affect the way we react physically.
People who spend time running on virtual treadmills may never break a sweat physically, but their mind perceives the workout and accepts it as real, losing real weight.  Those directed to cut down virtual trees in a game wind up making more ecologically sound choices in their physical world.
In business, they’ve found that sitting in a conference room with business associates from around the world becomes accepted in the mind as much as a local meeting.  Relationships are built and respected when the voice has a face, and we can actually dress for success in a virtual environment.
To this end Lyric Navarita started the ™MAGAZINE WRITER’S GUIDE ASSOCIATION, or MWGA.  This is a group of magazine editors, bloggers, editors, graphic artists, writers and others dedicated to working together to benefit the group as a whole.  Recognizing that there is strength in diversity and cooperation, this is a professional organization that is achieving footholds in Europe, Australia and the US.
The pen is mightier than the sword, and a group of media individuals banded together in unified purpose is an army.  Services are available to members from renting the corporate conference rooms for private and business functions to being able to brainstorm with professionals in every aspect of media.  MWGA is a valuable resource for all business that needs media, in other words, all business.
