The Virtual iLady ExperimentHow many posts have I filled with tales about the wonders of Second Life? I think the official estimate is ‘a bunch’.  And now I finally have a brave individual who has volunteered to be my virtual experiment for the betterment of humankind.

This brave soul has stepped forward in the name of pseudo science; her purpose is to show that Second Life is indeed a largely overlooked but excellent tool for business (& that I’m not crazy ;p)  I think it’s particularly useful for indie authors, artists and musicians.

Second Life is a marketers’ wet dream with all its tantalizing teasing of little to no overhead costs, a wide expanse of potential fans and an avatar that always looks good no matter what you look like on the other side of the screen.  Now our brave iLady will show everyone how easy it is to come in and rule the virtual world.

For now I shall keep her identity secret (because I forgot to ask her if it was okay to reveal her identity), but soon I’ll tell all about our hilarious first virtual meeting; persistent plaid and swarming artists.  It was quite a morning, I promise you.

Until then stay tuned, there is a lot planned over the next few days.  That also means I’m a little crazy right now so if you run into me and you think I seem a little nuts… you are right.  Just keep all toes and fingers inside the vehicle and we’ll all make it through fine.
