Bring on the crazy month—I’ve already got my crazy hair ready!

October is turning out to be quite the busy month already—two out-of-state book signings, Pirantulas! story release, start filming Pirantulas!, three newspaper issues, the potential for a new Lizards book, a new, collectable paperback project to be unveiled and Marilyn Manson on Halloween! Here’s the details:

pirantulas_frontcoverPirantulas! will be my October 1 release, but new this month it will be available in a special, collectable square paperback as well as ebook on Amazon. If all goes well, filming for the Pirantulas! short film will also begin in early October.

The weekend of the 17th I will be heading to Missouri to visit my long time editor and friend, Amy Eye! We will be traveling together to Kansas City for a combined author tour and signing books at a renaissance fair. I am trying to work a visit to a haunted insane asylum into the visit as well.

Of course I will be reading in all the usual places—Oct. 7 I’ll be at Say the Word at French Quarter Bar and Grill. Oct. 13 I am planning to make a trip to the Crestview Public Library for their poetry event and Oct. 15 I will be at LJ Schooners for Stone Soup.

Halloween Button w SKULLOnline events will also be happening. I will have a guest blog post coming up for the Horror Writer Association’s annual Halloween line up. October 9 at 9 a.m. central I will be hosting an hour at Authors and More Harvested and will be playing games, asking trivia and giving away prizes. From Oct.1-10 I will be participating in the October Frights Blog Hop (interested bloggers can still sign up).

Southern Bound Book ShopOn Halloween I will be living the ultimate day—signing books from 1-4 p.m. at at Southern Bound Book Shop in Biloxi, Mississippi and then attending the Marilyn Manson show at the Hard Rock there.

It will be a busy month for sure, but a good one, and I’m sure more events will find their way into this line up. I’m sure November will roll in to find me happy and properly trick or treated this year 🙂
