David Bowie passed away Jan. 10 and many artists/authors have been struggling to find a way to commemorate this cultural icon. A few years ago graphic artist Andrew Kolb designed a children’s book from the lyrics to Bowie’s Major Tom. Then Andrew Ruttan animated Kolb’s work into this video. Lately this collaboration has been resurfacing as another way to view Bowie’s first UK Top 5 hit.
