I’ve had some eye opening conversations during the night and I feel like my mind is blown open.

It all links back to the mystery poster I found last month. You can read about that here.

Right now my mind is full of poetry, so that’s what you get. One of the benefits of writing a blog is you can publish what you want, sans editor. It’s also one of the dangers. So here is morning poetry for you, just because I can and want to.

Don’t Fear

Don’t fear dying
because you’re already dead.
You just don’t know it.

Death is comfortable.
It’s the unwinding of yesterday
yesterday…yesterday…yesterday…
soothing…dull…relentless…
until all the yesterdays are spent.

Fear life.
When the veil drops
it will seize hold of you
and make you mad.

When you see what hides
in the space between the stars
you will tremble and cry.
You will know
the dark isn’t so.
The universe is bright
and full of brilliance
and the darkness you see
is only sunblind black
in your eyes.
You were weaned from
the Milky Way.
You were born from
starshine and meant
for life—not existence.

Don’t fear living.
You have nothing to lose
but death.
