Local Author Fair Panel #1

It’s the official start to the 7th Annual Local Author Fair hosted by Mid-continent Public Library’s Storytelling Center. One of the best things about moving to Kansas City has been this library system and the center. HUGE support for literacy, especially local literacy. Ryan and I will be graduating from their written and oral storytelling programs soon, but that’s for another post.

Tonight is the first author panel with C.L. Clark, author of The Unbroken; Greg Gildersleeve, author of The Secret Club; Theresa Hupp, My Hope Secured: Love and Loss on the Oregon Frontier; and Cyndi Swall, author Bliss In The Wild: the Intentional Woman’s Guide to Creating Everyday Joy.

Watch the panel here, and find the author websites below. Thank you to Shannon A. Thompson from the Storytelling Program… also a local author! You can find more information on her here. I’ll be on the third and final panel on November 21st—my birthday!

Info on the Local Author Fair and other events can be found on my Events page here.
