That was probably the busiest October I’ve ever experienced. Multiple Zoom panels, workshops, projects… but it was probably the best October I’ve ever had. Last thing I did for the month was vote.

November promises to be a lot quieter, but there are still some things to look out for. Besides writing a romance novel—yes, I’m serious—I’ll be on the HWA’s new Skeleton Hour show with Black Crane sisters Lee Murray, Geneve Flynn, Nadia Bulkin and Rena Mason to discuss the Black Cranes anthology (find it here) on November 10 at 5 pm central. Find the Facebook event with details here.

I was also blessed to be chosen as one of 12 authors to be featured in Mid-continent Public Libraries Local Author Fair on November 5 and 21. I’ll be in a panel live on November 21 beginning at 1:30 with Robert Long Foreman, Kathy J Petty, Polly A McCann and Dawn Downey. So lucky to live in an area where the library system is so supportive of the local creative community. You can find all the details and links to the panels here.

Other than those events, I’ll be busy catching up and writing this romance novel—Soft Deadlines. Next Sunday I’ll report my progress and probably have an audio excerpt from Ryan to share. In the meantime, you can always check my progress here.
