First day at StokerCon and here’s where I’ll be. I have one event today with plans to check out a lot of the other goings-on. I’ll try to come back in between to leave summaries. Ryan and I both have pre-recorded readings posted as well in the Author’s Expo section.

Update: What a great class! Lee and I had a packed two hours talking about topics covered in our new book, Mark My Words, which will up available on Amazon this Monday after StokerCon. I think the class will be available at some point in the future on Teachable from Horror University. I’ll let you know here.

StokerCon Update: while I miss the in-person experience, so far this event has been fun. I attended two panels today. I enjoyed Marge Simon’s Poems to Fictions and Vice Versa. Attended by Lee Andrew Foreman, Carina Bissett, David Cowen, Nina D’Arcangela, and Terrie Leigh Relf. Great discussion on ekphrastics, drabble and various inspirations.

I also attended the The Current State of Publishing with Kristin Nelson, Angie Hodapp, Becky LeJeune, and Beverly Bambury. Very interesting take on how publishing has changed over the past year of pandemic.

  1. Marge Simon says:

Thanks for mentioning our panel — missed the start of yours, and then find it had a glitch happen, darn it! I hope you’ll both try something like it again, in Denver?! And thanks for the book – that came with the panel!
