What do you think of contests that ask for an entry fee? I personally don’t have anything against it, especially if they are giving out cash prizes. Some organizations, like the Science Fiction and Fantasy Poetry Association (SFPA), use contests as fundraisers. They were even voted a Best Writing Contest in 2022. I think I’ll send something to F(r)iction.
