Schwartz Games is looking for six published authors who would enjoy being part of a storytelling game project.  The project is Smalltown Tales.  The game empowers players to weave scenes together collaboratively into one epic story.

Smalltown Tales’ storytelling framework helps people create engaging scenes by providing mentoring advice on characters, plots, and settings. It also helps people connect these scenes to create compelling stories from beginning to end, using proven plot mapping techniques. This framework never dictates your dialog, rather it provides structure to support your creative efforts and can be applied to virtually any genre and theme.  Its versatility aims to foster a vibrant community of storytellers, writers, readers, and story enthusiasts who share their creativity and talents in fun, interactive, and informative ways.

Central to this vision is the participation of community members who develop original game episodes.  For your participation, you’ll receive a free copy of Smalltown Tales, and your episode will be included in the game’s online library for game owners to use.    You will be given full credit for creating the episode with a link to your web presence so gamers can purchase your work.  The goal is to celebrate your passion for specific genres and themes while recognizing your talents and contributions that inspire others.

If you are interested in participating, please let Schwartz Games know via email at stschwartz@zoho.com before July 14th, noting which genre you’d like to contribute and a link to your bio and published works.  If there is a match, they will send you the publishing timeline, instructions for obtaining your free copy of the game, and instructions for creating your curated episode after your game arrives. An online version of the game will also be provided. If you have any questions, feel free to use the above email.

From the creator of Schwartz Games: “We hope you can join us in enriching others by sharing your storytelling talents.  Together, we can create a diverse and inspirational repository of story-starters – seeds that promote collaboration, spark one’s imagination, explore different genres, and enrich storytelling within a supportive, thriving community.”
