iBlog: My 2011 Blog Stats

2011 was the year I got serious about blogging.  Dandilyon Fluff was viewed about 10,000 times last year and I added 225 new posts.  I started the year in Australia and ended it in the US.  It was a busy year and  I loved blogging it all.

Blogging brought me some big rewards like all the MyBlogSpark goodies and I got to meet such amazing people like John Dye and Tenek.  Blogging inspired me to publish two books and I got to be interviewed live on JournalJabber.  Blogging has definitely been an awesome experience.

I’ve been looking over my compiled blogging stats over at WordPress tonight, and it’s got me reading over old posts and reminiscing.  A blog is a lot like a journal and a photo album blended together; it’s my mark, one more small voice echoing thru cyberspace.  It proves I was here at some point.

Some people climb mountains to find themselves.  Some people create art, learn to fly and volunteer selflessly to make a difference.  I tap away at my keyboard, each key helping me to connect to the world around me.

Thanks for being part of that world.
