My Long Awaited Job

My long time readers know that I have been waiting forever to get a job.  The year plus that we lived in Australia was awesome, except they wouldn’t allow me to work.

Mr. Smith had to support me and be a student.  On top of that, I actually like working.  Crazy but true.  When I know that my hours count towards a paycheck I get obsessive.  What can I say… money inspires me ;p

This week I finally returned to the work force.  When I’m not writing, I now work for Crossmark, a marketing company that specializes in point of sale promotions.  That means I pass out samples and educate the public about the product.  This position is perfect for me; I get to talk to people all day long, I get to give away stuff and they have special incentive/contest events to keep me motivated.  To put it bluntly, I love this job.

Yes my feet hurt, and yes I’m tired.  It’s all worth it tho when I get my paycheck next Friday.  I’m redoing my schedule so I still have time to keep up with you all here and continue my writing.  A few things coming up in the very near future:

A review of Evofiction, the new site for fictional writers.

A review of the new album from Flesh Eating Foundation – So Yeah

A review of the children’s book, Charles of Colshire Castle — The Purple Dragon by Douglas Quinn

And yes, the Ghost Story Game is still in the works.  I lost my moviemaker to TGN, one of those super awesome Youtube channels that tempts talent like Kyra away from my little projects.  The videos she makes now are amazing, and I am really proud of her.  Lucky for me, Mr. Smith is willing to step into her shoes and take over as my main movie guy with Kyra contributing when she can.

Check out her latest series, Entering Skyrim.  She is talented as well as cute and funny.  Thank you Kyra for being my movie diva for so long, and congratz on your new success.  Years from now I’ll boast that she started right here with me on Dandilyon Fluff ;D

That’s it for now… it’s been a long day and I’m looking forward to putting my feet up and having a relaxing NaNo night.  Tomorrow I’ll be back here with another post!
