Dandilyon Fluff is Two!

I looked at my calendar late last night to see what appointments I had going on today and saw a birthday notification… Dandilyon Fluff was born two years ago today.

I’d dabbled with blogs before but had never gotten serious.  I originally started this one over on Blogger because I was heading to Australia and I wanted a way to share my experiences with friends and family without sending 100 emails every day.

Ironically, two years later I am sending about 100 emails every day.  The little blog that started with an awkward post about selling my motorcycle and got maybe 10 hits a week has grown into an obsession for me that gets about 100 hits a day.  Looking back at where it started… I’m amazed it’s grown like it has and continues growing.

My tag line is Going where the wind blows because, like an actual dandelion fluff, I really have no idea what I may be writing about tomorrow.  Each dawn brings its own subject matter and I write about it as it comes.  I like to think of the whole thing as something organic with a life of its own.  I’m just here to listen and then tell.

I’m feeling all nostalgic today about everything that has happened in the last two years, but I won’t drag you thru every memory.  I do want to say thank you for joining me in my obsession.  This blog has become so much more to me than I ever thought… In the words of Barney Stinson;
