In America we pay for cell phone calls twice.  The sender and the receiver both pay for the calls and texts we send.  In some other countries, like Australia, only the sender pays.

Personally, I’m tired of paying for incoming spam texts and calls.  The only reason I can see that the US cell phone carriers charge us twice is because we accept it.

I’m going to ask my cell phone company how they can get away with charging us all twice.  If enough of us ask the same question, maybe cell phone charges can start being a little more fair.

    1. When I first found out that not everyone in the world paid both ways I was shocked. I think it just never occurred to most of us in the US that there is another way. It really makes sense tho… why should we pay for incoming calls and texts? I didn’t ask for it…
